Getting involved in a committee is a great way to collaborate with your peers on the future of our organization. Directing the future of Northwest Ohio Board REALTORS® is no small task, but you will have a real voice choosing member activities and services.

If you’re ready to make a positive impact, peruse our list of committees and complete the form below telling us which committee(s) interest you the most.

Committee chairs meet in January to select committee members and will contact you within the month.

Affiliate Committee

This team performs outreach to area agents, brokers, and affiliated businesses not yet Affiliate Members. We focus on encouraging them to join Northwest Ohio REALTORS®. You’ll also have a hand in brainstorming new ways to show our appreciation to current Affiliate Members.

Community Service Committee

This is one of the hardest committees you’ll be proud to join because we concentrate on ways to serve our Northwest Ohio communities. That means selecting worthy recipients for our quarterly in-brokerage collection drive and promoting the cause to members. You’ll also have an opportunity to recruit members for volunteering projects including the Habitat for Humanity Playhouse Build.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee

Join the cultural conversations in Northwest Ohio about important diversity-related topics including education, exposure, and strategic partnerships. The DEI committee acknowledges the fact that we’re all in this together – and we can all do more to achieve its laudable goals, which include:

  • Providing opportunities for members to learn about diversity, fair housing, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Encouraging greater participation among diverse members at all levels of association.
  • Promoting home ownership in minority populations in concert with local non-profit organizations.

Grievance Committee

Are you an objective person who believes in doing the right thing even when someone isn’t looking? The Grievance Committee could use your help reviewing ethics and arbitration complaints. The committee then votes to determine if the complaint should be heard by a panel of Professional Standards Committee Members.

Investment Committee

  • Review Investment Policies and make recommendations for the Board’s approval
  • Recommend guidelines and goals for the investment of the Association’s surplus funds to the Board of Directors.
  • Oversee investment performance

  • Interview elected officials to determine the allocation of RPAC funds.
